The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County is the information source to help, develop and grow the area's Hispanic market. It provides economic and demographic data on the strength and future growth of the Hispanic market; represents and helps Hispanic enterprises in their business endeavors; and develops ties with non-Hispanic businesses that utilize the resourses of the Hispanic market for commerce and employment.

The Hispanic population in Palm Beach County is now 17% of the total population. Hispanics in our service area are younger, more educated, and with higher disposable income than anywhere else in Florida.

This is your opportunity and your challenge!

Here you have a very high growth market, but it is not simple to reach it. Hispanics in Palm Beach County, unlike most areas in the U.S. do not come from a single region of Latin America. The largest single group of national origin accounts for only 22% of all Hispanics in the county.

The answer is that you must not cater to any one group, or your target market may not be large enough. Alternatively, it is a place rich in culture and diversity. Hispanics own large construction companies, agriculture and food processing, all kinds of retail and increasingly medical and financial services.

Media reaching the Hispanic marketplace in Palm Beach County now includes formerly all English media companies (such as the Palm Beach Post and the Sun-Sentinel) now having Spanish reach. Various Spanish weeklies cover local Hispanic events and news from Latin America. Radio stations and most recently television channel 48 WWHB, are all Spanish stations reaching our community. But don’t confuse the Spanish language for Hispanic business. You also reach the Hispanic marketplace with the non-Spanish media – but you must know how. If you are Hispanic, you cannot ignore the 83% of the market that is not Hispanic.
